I've just returned from a little ice climbing holiday at the Ouray Ice Park, which is quite easily one of the greatest places on Earth! Well, maybe not the greatest place on Earth but it's one of the best venues for ice climbing in the country. We, John and I spent 2 days climbing in the park where we climbed basically all day long and on Saturday we climbed with Clint Cook a guide/owner of San Juan Mountain Guides in the backcountry. Needless to say this was one of the best climbing trips I've ever been on and I'm looking forward to getting back out their next season, hopefully for a bit longer!
