Only two weeks since my last visit to the Adirondacks and winter is back in full force, more importantly Roaring Brook Falls is in condition. If you don't know what I mean
click here and take a quick peak at what it looked like two weeks ago. No that's not ice but running water in January!
This trip is really short notice but a great deal of fun to say the least. I've been waiting to lead RBF since Scott and I first climbed it with Chad Kennedy back in 2004. Conditions where great, a bit overcast when we started but as the morning wore on it cleared up nicely and the temperature was around 5 degrees with a light wind. Compared to Cascade Pass RBF was virtually wind free!
Well, enough of my blabbering
enjoy the show!
Later,
Darin
