The recommended gear list for our mt. rainier and mt. hood trip, don't get left out in the cold! this is a list gear that "YOU" should probably have for yourself!
personal gear:
- backpack: 5000 cu,in or larger
- sleeping bag: 0-20 degrees

clothing (which will get really smelly):
- 2 light weight underwear tops
- 1 light weight underwear bottom

- softshell pants and jacket
- gore-tex jacket and pants

- down/synthetic jacket
- 2 or 3 pair of liner gloves
- shell gloves
- warm hat

climbing gear:
- mountain axe
- crampons

- 1 24 inch snow picket
- 1 ice screw
- 2 large pear shaped beaners
- 6 non-locking beaners
- 2 x 6ft sections of 6mm climbing line
- 1 x 12ft section of 6mm climbing line
